The questions owners, buyers and operators ask us most. If yours is not here, ask us directly.
How is a ferry quote prepared?
We price each ferry job individually, based on the aircraft, routing, crew, permits, fuel, positioning, insurance and other requirements. The great circle distance our route tool shows is a starting point, not necessarily the route we will fly. To start a quote, send us the aircraft type, where it is, where it needs to go and your timing.
Yes. Aircraft sales and acquisitions is one of our services, and it connects directly to delivery: we can accept the aircraft on your behalf where it is and bring it home. For the EVAS MEDI-MAXX program, you can bring your own Beechcraft 1900D or the team can help source one.
Delivery work covers acceptance of the aircraft on the owner's behalf, regulatory approvals, permit coordination, route planning, fuel logistics, customs requirements, operational support across the regions on the route, and handover. Where work is needed on arrival, we can coordinate it; on one recent delivery, that was a propeller upgrade.
Do you handle international permits and import coordination?
Yes. A foreign-registered aircraft needs approvals for each country it overflies and each country where it lands. We coordinate the regulatory approvals and permits, customs requirements, and import and export support.
Do I need to own a Beechcraft 1900D already for MEDI-MAXX?
No. You may bring an aircraft, or the team can help source one. Sourcing is an option, not a requirement. From there, we work together on aircraft review and inspection, the conversion proposal and commercial terms, conversion coordination and final handover.
Is TM Aviation the aircraft's operator on a management assignment?
Not as a default. On a management assignment we coordinate crewing, scheduling, maintenance planning, operational planning, compliance support and cost oversight under a scope agreed with each owner for each aircraft. The operating arrangement is one of the things we assess before accepting an assignment. TM Aviation does not itself provide maintenance.
With customers in Canada, the United States and internationally, and ferry and delivery work can be worldwide. Calgary and Sarasota are our company locations, not the limits of our work.
What reporting do owners get on a management assignment?
Regular reporting on activity, scheduling, maintenance and cost. The precise reports and accounting responsibilities are agreed with each owner rather than promised as one fixed package.
We list aircraft on this site when there are aircraft we are authorized to advertise. If you are looking for something specific, tell us what you need.
Buying, selling, chartering or moving an aircraft: tell us what you need. Your inquiry is handled directly by experienced aviation professionals, with senior involvement from initial discussion through execution.
