President's Trophy Air Race
A new, independent American general aviation air race developed by TM Aviation.
Inaugural race planned for Summer 2028.
The concept
Each aircraft flies against a handicap based on its expected maximum straight-and-level performance.
The fastest aircraft does not automatically win because the faster aircraft receives the higher handicap.
The crew still needs to make the aircraft perform while navigating accurately.
No GPS. No magenta line.

The idea is not simply to point the aircraft toward the next GPS waypoint.
The crew has to navigate the aircraft properly while extracting maximum performance from it.
Launching at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2027
The President's Trophy Air Race will be formally introduced to the U.S. general aviation community at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2027.
The event will mark the public launch of the race program ahead of the inaugural race planned for Summer 2028.
Race information, proposed rules, entry details, sponsorship opportunities and future registration information will be presented at the TM Aviation stand during Oshkosh.
